Born and raised in West Philadelphia, but I’m good in any hood…
When I’m photographing people it puts me in a good space. My love for photography started off about 20yrs ago when I was expecting my first child with my wife. I remember setting up some pillows in the living room of our apartment and telling my 8 month pregnant wife that I wanted to take some maternity photos of her. I had a little inexpensive camera that I had set to auto and started snapping away. As I look at the photos today, needless to say they weren’t all that great but that’s because I didn’t know a thing about photography but I always had an eye for beauty.
As our family grew, my passion for photography grew. I’ve photographed everything from my kids crawling to my oldest child moving on to his college campus. I’ve photographed championship basketball games and also gymnastics competitions. Other parents loved the images that I captured and started asking me to photograph their children, and that’s when Primelens Photography started and I didn’t even know it. Fast forward to 2021 and I am now an professional photographer that is capturing the most important moments in life, through a lens.
